Laos - Vang Vieng Hotel Review

Very friendly hosts who were concerned for the welfare of guests at all times. There was some difficulty in communication, as I only had some knowledge of the language and the official host had to be away over the weekend I was there for a wedding. Room was ok; the balcony overlooked the river which was great.The food especially the dinner was excellent. The location and the atmosphere was great. The Cocoon has a nice location to stay in and breakfast was nice but the service we had there was not very good. Our room was only cleaned once in a 3 night stay, the outside light which they said would be fixed on our first night was not fixed and when checking out they tried to avoid giving us our deposit back and after making it clear we were in a hurry to catch a bus we were basically ignored for 20 minutes.
