eco lodge is a really good place for relax after long trips by bus or boat. and quite the opposite to the crowded traveller village. if you want to enjoy life and athmosphere - go there and miss synthetic beer and funmachine in town.- 01/01/2008, Mr. fritz wollinger

You are paying for the view which is undeniably fantastic but I'm unclear why its considered as a hotel (other than its size) and charging as one which we felt was overpriced for what was it offered in comparision to other accomodation in Lao. The breakfast was poor especially if you're vegi - a jar of Nescafe and not a Lao coffee in sight wasnt what we were hoping for. I booked this room for my son's girlfriend as a Valentine's Day present as they could not be together on the day. The way the hotel dealt with my request was excellent - I had also emailed another hotel with a similar request and they did not even reply to the email!! - and I was also sent an email to say that she and her friend had checked in okay.
