Vang Vieng Ecolodge features cottages built in local wood and stone in a glorious open setting above the Nam Song river, with stunning outlooks over the limestone mountains and sunrise and sunset views of Vang Vieng. Each thatched cottage is individually designed and stylish decorated in wood and Lao linens. Every one has a private balcony overlooking the river.
Butterflies, birdsong and the sounds of rushing water sounds are a constant backdrop in the tranquil setting. This idyllic spot can be the starting point for a kayaking tour downriver to Vang Vieng, or just for a splash in the cool Nam Song. The Vang Vieng Ecolodge is around 6kms or 10 minutes drive north of Vang Vieng beside the village of Viengsamay.
Vang Vieng Ecolodge's riverside restaurant is an atmospheric breakfast spot with a superb view. Groups can lunch and dine here in comfort. A longhouse also offers budget accommodation in this beautiful spot. In the cool winter evenings a warm, blazing fire is lit. Guests can luxuriate underneath the huge starry sky, reveling in the forest sounds in this rural haven.

The Vang Vieng Ecolodge’s open-sided restaurant is on a deck overlooking the river. This beautiful spot is the ideal setting for breakfast, snacks and meals. Guests can order lunch and evening meals to be served here for groups of up to 20 people. In the cooler winter months a blazing fire is set up under the starry sky. Paddling in the river on the stones beside the restaurant is fun for guests of all ages. Kayaks are available for rent at the Vang Vieng Ecolodge, and trips beginning here continue down the Nam Song to the Organic Farm or central Vang Vieng.
