Getting there
From disused airstrip which is commonly used as the final bus stop for tourist buses arriving from Vientiane and Luang Prabang, walk down any street taking you towards the river, then once arriving on the closest street that runs parallel to the river walk up stream and you will see the Vansana Hotel on the left (river side) of the road, just before the Amphone Guesthouse.
Coming from the main local bus station it is probably best to take a Tuk Tuk as it is a fair walk in to town and the Vansana Hotel especially if you are carrying bags.
