My husband gave in a bag of laundry on the evening we arrived and he was assured it would be ready in 24 hours as we would be leaving the following morning. When we collected it, it had not been washed and no explanation or apology was forthcming. We felt this reflected badly on the off hand way that the hotel appears to be managed and the care they take of their guests.
Also we booked a "VIP" bus through the hotel - no way was it anything like the "VIP" bus we travelled on to Vang Vieng. It was also more expensive.
