A sunset view from the restaurant at Thavonsouk Resort is the classic Vang Vieng experience, where guests can sample Thai, Lao and western dishes featuring freshly river caught fish. A well tended garden has creepers and flowering vines winding around the bungalow doors, and in the cooler winter the paths and trees are lit by strings of fairy lights.

Elderly people on foot have a very difficult acces. Tuk-tuks came not down because to steep. No pavement between the bungalows. I you can cope with this then it's a good value.

A pleasure to come back and stay here again - watching the sunrise onto the mountains from the bed of your riverside bungalow is amazing.

Great view from this resort. Great location. Room was not very clean. It was OK, especially since location is important in Vang Vieng.

Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff and excellent well priced meals. The location is really beautiful and my only criticism would be that the rooms are a bit dated and the walls are a bit thin.

staffs and owner are friendly. Great views and romance atmosphere. But very low quality of the mattress, sheet and blanket.
