Rooms in the two-storey guesthouse are well furnished and decorated throughout with gleaming ceramic tiles. Babylon’s roof area gives wonderful views in all directions, and the English manager ensures guests can enjoy good home cooking and have a chat about up-to-date travel information. There is also a bar with pool table and excellent music. From the roof terrace views can be enjoyed of the whole town as well as spectacular sunsets over the mountains.
Lao, Thai and Western food are served from morning until late in the sala style restaurant, with full English breakfast a specialty. The bar serves a full range of drinks for guests to enjoy while relaxing in front of the international movie, music and sport channels on television … watching life go by on the main street, or perhaps taking up the challenge of a game of pool.
